Diana welcomes new Justice appointment in Slovenia

Diana has sent a letter of congratulation to Mr. Ales Zalar, the new Liberal Democrat Minister of Justice in the recently formed Slovenian government.

Diana said:

"Having followed September's parliamentary elections in Slovenia with much interest I am delighted to hear the good news of Ales Zalar's appointment. I very much look forward to us working together."

Back in June (and as reported on this website) Diana Wallis sent a message of support to Slovenian Liberal Democrats at their party Congress on their well thought-out policy paper on justice matters. This video clip, shown at the conference, also featured a wide-ranging discussion between Diana and Ales Zalar.

Also promoted to the Government was the Leader of the Slovenian Liberal Democrats, Katarina Kresal, who becomes the Minister of the Interior.
