Local Euro MP visits Yorkshire Water treatment plant at Saltend

Local Liberal Democrat Euro MP, Diana Wallis, visited Yorkshire Water's treatment plant at Saltend on Friday 16th March.

Ms Wallis met Yorkshire Water managers to discuss proposed Brussels legislation which is looking at environmental quality standards in the area of water policy.

Whilst on site at Saltend, Diana Wallis MEP also discussed with Yorkshire Water the company's plans to reduce the smells which have caused complaints from local residents in recent years.
