Local Euro MP visits Hull recruitment company HQ

Local Liberal Democrat Euro MP, Diana Wallis, today visited the Hull offices of recruitment company, National Locums.

Ms. Wallis met key personnel in the company to discuss the work of National Locums which specialises in recruiting temporary workers for the healthcare sector.

Ms. Wallis said:

"A lot of employment legislation, especially regarding temporary workers, is now framed by what comes out of Brussels. It is important for me, as a member the European Parliament's Legal Affairs Committee which deals with many of these issues, to understand how this helps, or indeed hinders, local companies in the employment sector. I wanted to understand how National Locums sees the long-term future of this sector in Hull."
